Marilyn "Pat" Parker

Marilyn "Pat" Parker, age 82, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025. Born on May 23, 1943, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to James and Margaret Boswell. She devoted her life to her family and shared her warmth, love, and generosity with all who knew her.

Pat is survived by her loving daughters, Janet (Chris Bubenhofer) Carpenter and Kim Greger; her cherished grandchildren, Steven (Holly) Greger Jr., Ashley Mario Bernal) Greger, Amanda Greger, and Chris Carpenter; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as brother and sister-in-laws, Susan (Terry) Hamilton and James T. Parker, and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, William "Bill - Buddy" Parker Jr., her son Brett Parker, and her parents, James and Margaret Boswell.

A woman with a generous heart and a deep love for her family. Pat was known for always putting others first. She took joy in caring for those around her and was the steady, loving presence in her family's lives. Her passion for collecting cookbooks reflected her love for the home and the meals shared with it.

Pat found great peace and joy in visiting the Smoky Mountains, making trips there a couple times a year. She also had a special place in her heart for animals, always treating them as part of the family.

She will be deeply missed by all.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Charter Oaks Cemetery, Aberdeen, Ohio.
