Marie Frances Back (nee Ahlers), age 101, passed away on April 20, 2026. Left behind to cherish her memory are seven children and their spouses: Carl, Mike (Sue), Ruth, Tom, Janet (Bill) Florian, Margaret (Blaine) Norris, and Karen (John) Bankemper. Also mourning her death while celebrating her life are fifteen grandchildren and their spouses: Laura, Reneé Walser, Emily (Sean) Tanner, Brian (Caitlin), Greg (Emily), Abby (Jarrod) DeVries, Jeff (Nicole), Chris (Becci), Katie (Jonathan) Schmitz, Anna (Nick) Fisher, Liz (Jim) Kovell, Sarah Norris, Nick (Jessica) Medert, Jason (Madelyn) Bankemper, and Zack Bankemper. Eleven great-grandchildren are living, with more on the way. Daughter-in law Cindy Back, sister-in-law Jo Ellen Back also remember her fondly, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Her loving husband of 62 years, Bob, died in 2010. Her son Ray, daughters-in-law Cathy (Carl) and Sue (Tom), and great-granddaughter Norah Walser also preceded her in death, as did her parents, two brothers and four sisters.

Family and friends will be received from 10-11 AM on Monday, April 27 at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM.  Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
