Marian R. (nee Glenn) Schott of Loveland. Loving wife of the late George L. Schott. Dear mother of Michael F. (Martha) Schott. Caring grandmother of Michael L. Schott, Katherine A. Schott and Thomas G. Schott. Beloved sister of Jean (the late Louis) Gordon. Passed away peacefully March 16, 2017 at the age of 87. Special thank you to her many dedicated caregivers Ama, Carol, Gloria, Shelly, Naomi, Darlene, Lori, Vida and others. The family is most grateful for the dedicated care provided by Ama Mills over the past few years. She was a 1947 high school graduate of Notre Dame Academy, 1951 undergraduate of Thomas Moore College, and a 1976 Master's graduate of Xavier University. She spent the majority of her educational career in the North College Hill School District as a teacher then principal with additional supervisory duties through the District Office, retiring in August of 1993. She dedicated her life to her love for children. Her favorite pastimes were traveling, reading, swimming, walking and spending time with family and friends. In retirement, she felt fortunate to have her immediate family two blocks from her home. Family and friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Monday, March 20 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 21 at St. Columban Church, 894 Oakland Rd, Loveland, OH 45140, where family and friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of Mass. Interment will take place at Old St. Joseph Cemetery (Price Hill) immediately following the Mass. Family suggests memorial contributions be directed to The St. Columban debt reduction fund or The Thomas Moore scholarship fund.
