On Tuesday morning, at 3am on May 06, 2025, Mareena Luke, 41, of Morrow, OH, moved to her Heavenly home. Mareena was a godly woman who loved the Lord by devoutly praying the rosary and the Divine mercy chaplet daily at 3pm, and her family and set an example for her children that will lead them all their lives. Mareena loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God's Word. Though she was a humble, gentle and an extra ordinary woman, Mareena was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior, and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying have had on her family, her friends, and the world at large. A true friend to many, Mareena had an innate ability to brighten a room even, she would come in with a warm smile and a genuine heart. She had the ability to always have the right words for any occasion and make everyone feel valued and cherished. She had an extraordinary gift for making everyone she encountered feel seen and appreciated.

Mareena Luke was born in Thodupuzha, Kerala, India on May 11, 1983, to her cherished parents Kulathapillil Luka and Glory Luka. She obtained her degree in MBBS at Calicut University and was married for 16 years to her beloved husband Joseph J. Thozhal. She was the loving mother of Jayden J. Thozhal and Joshua J. Thozhal. She was a dear sister of Geogi Luke and Anitha Luke. She was the daughter in law to Jose Joseph Thozhal and Rita Jose, sister-in-law to Rijo Abhilash Chandy, and Bernard Jose. She is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Family and friends will be received from 10-11 AM on Friday, May 9 at St. Margaret of York, 9499 Columbia Road, Loveland, OH 45140, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM.
