Madonna "Donna" Donahue (nee Drees) of Loveland, beloved wife of 31 years to Michael Donahue and loving mother of Kevin Donahue of Montgomery and Brian Donahue of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2016 at the age of 58. Born in Sidney, Ohio, Donna attended Holy Angels Catholic School, Sidney High School and Sinclair College. She was employed by Midland Mutual Insurance and Ohio State University, where she met her husband. She and Mike worked together to develop and operate Donahue Consulting and, more recently, Retail OI. Donna devoted her life to her faith and family with energy, enthusiasm and pride. An independent spirit with a curious nature, she enjoyed travelling and reading, inspiring in her sons the love of learning and culture. Her many friends are testament to her kindness and generosity. Donna was preceded in death by parents Jerome and Mildred and is survived by a large family. Family and friends will be received from 5-8 pm on Friday, December 9 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 10 at 10:30 am at St. Columban Church, 894 Oakland Road in Loveland. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
