IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lynn M.
(Nee Schuster) Jamison
May 14, 1955 – January 18, 2025
It is with truly heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn Jamison, a beloved wife, mother, bonus mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, cousin, aunt, great aunt and friend. Born to the late Robert and Virginia Schuster on May 14, 1955, she passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones after never giving up on a hard-fought battle with cancer on January 18, 2025.
A wife and mother known for her independence, generosity, and unwavering love. Lynn devoted her life to her family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and selflessness. A true embodiment of resilience and independence, she was a master at making the most out of every situation. Whether fixing a broken item with nothing but a paperclip and string, or offering words of encouragement, her resourcefulness and ingenuity were legendary. Known as a "MacGyver" mom, she could turn the simplest things into life-changing solutions. Her generosity knew no bounds, whether it was volunteering at the VFW, teaching swim lessons, offering a ride, providing a listening ear, or sharing a laugh. She taught us all the value of hard work, independence, and the importance of being there for others without hesitation.
A grandmother known for her unending love, who held a special place in her heart for her grandsons. One of her greatest joys was being their Mimi and sharing her life with them. Whether it was showing up at every one of their school events or sports games, telling stories from her past, baking in the kitchen, throwing countless baseballs, or simply spending time together, she made each moment feel like a gift.
Her kindness, love, and generosity were a reflection of her beautiful heart. Her love extended beyond family, touching the lives of everyone she met. She will be remembered not only for the life she lived, but for the impact she had on those who were lucky enough to know her.
Lynn is survived by her loving husband, Gary Jamison; her children, Christopher Jamison and Jennifer (Sean) McDade; grandchildren, Elliot and Simon McDade; and a host of family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
She will be deeply missed by too many to name.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH, 45249, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to Hospice of Cincinnati.
