Loretta J. Smith, passed away on September 12, 2026, in Blanchester, Ohio. She was born on November 1, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and lived a long life marked by family ties and lasting connections.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Smith; her parents, Ray and Marie (Rose) Hopkins; brothers, Jerry Hopkins and Billy Hopkins.

Loretta will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, June Neal and Carol May. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward with affection and gratitude.

Graveside services will be held on September 17, 2026, from 12 PM to 1 PM at Blanchester Cemetery, 520 West Main Street, Blanchester, Ohio.

Loretta’s memory will remain with her family and all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
