Lorene H. Renner, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 84.

Born March 14, 1939, in Sommerset, Kentucky, daughter of Clyde and Ersie (nee Rainwater) Lane. Lorene retired from Blanchester Schools after 26 years of working as the cafeteria supervisor. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, camping, and water skiing.

Lorene is survived by her children, Russell (Diane) Renner, Jr. and Diana (John) Gerard; grandchildren, Marvin Renner, Russell J. Renner, Steven Renner, John Gerard III, Dylan Gerard, Hannah Gerard, Elizabeth Renner, Nicholas Brush, and Ricky Armstrong; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Avolene Shilts, and Larry (Ann) Lane; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Along with her parents, Lorene was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Renner, Sr.; son, Gregory Renner; sister, Anna Smith; brother, James A. Lane and Clyde Lane, Jr..

Friends will be received from 5-8pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio.

The funeral service will begin at 11am on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Sabin officiating.

Interment will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery following the funeral service.

The pallbearers will be John Gerard III, Dylan Gerard, Marvin Renner, Rusty Renner, Nicholas Brush, Alex Renner, and honorary pallbearer, Steven Renner.
