Lonnie R. Sturgill, of Blanchester, Ohio was born June 23, 1962 to Willie and Pearl (nee Collett) Sturgill and passed away on August 2, 2019 at the age of 57. Lonnie retired from Goshen Schools and later Milford Schools. He was also a member of the band Six Pac. He was the beloved husband of 34 years to Vicky Sturgill; loving father of Amanda Sturgill, Bethany Sturgill, Erin Waugh, Lonnie "Curtis" Sturgill, Tiffany Sturgill, and Ethan Sturgill; proud grandfather of Taylor Redmond, Kayli Redmond, Aiden Redmond, and Lincoln Waugh; dear brother of Martha, Mary, Gene, Brenda, Leslie, Jessie, Dale, and Tim. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty. Friends will be received from 6-8pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28 Goshen, OH 45122. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Goshen Cemetery, Goshen, Ohio.
