Lola Inez Snellgrove (nee Street), aged 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 30 at the home of her daughter in Aiken, SC. She was born on March 9, 1930, in Waynesboro, MS and resided most of her adult life in Cincinnati, OH and her retirement years in Grass Valley, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ernest Snellgrove, her parents Lemuel M. Street and Lillian B. Street, grandson Shawn Ford, granddaughter Ashley Newkirk, sisters Catherine Westbrook, Lois Wilson, Willie Mae Gentry. She is survived by daughters Janet Gibson (Joe) and Kimberly Brown, granddaughter Megan Newkirk, great grandson Sean Newkirk, sisters Geneva Davis, Joyce Spence, Mary McIlwain, Winnie Barnhart, brothers James (Sam) Street, Lynn Street, Marvin Street, Alfred Street, Roy Street, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

A visitation will be held for friends and family on Tuesday, August 6, 5:00 to 8:00PM, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Drive, in Loveland, OH. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 7 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, and interment services will be at 11:30AM, Thursday August 8, at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati.
