Lois Ann (nee Tucker) Snider of Otterbein, Lebanon, OH., formerly of Oxford, OH. Passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, age 92. She was born in Loveland, OH on March 21, 1929 to Alfred and Mable Tucker. Beloved wife of the late Melvin E. Snider. Loving mother of Kathleen (LeRoy) Wilder, Kevin (Ann) Snider and the late Philip Snider. Proud grandmother of Matthew (Sarah) Wilder, Andrew (Claire) Wilder, Benjamin (Amanda) Wilder, Carrie (Christopher) Dearth, Trevor (Elise) Snider, Joan (Matt) Gnau, Cameron (Kristina) Snider and David Snider. Caring great-grandmother of Emily, Thornton, Liam and Logan Wilder, Caleb, Dexton and Crosley Dearth, Connor and Brycen Snider and Eddie and Max Snider. Dear sister of the late Marilyn Poe and June Oligee. Cherished daughter of the late Alfred and Mable (nee Davis) Tucker. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Lois graduated from Loveland High School in 1947. She loved to travel. She was a member of Friendship Force and traveled to places such as New Zealand and Australia and also hosted other Friendship Force members from around the world. Lois was an excellent cook. She enjoyed going to Miami University Basketball games. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Friends will be received from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM on Monday, April 19 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment, Goshen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Lois Snider to Darrtown United Methodist Church, 2976 Oxford-Trenton Rd., Oxford, OH 45056. Rev. Jack Marsh will be the minister for the services.
