Lois Velander Hahn of Cincinnati. Beloved wife of 17 years to Christian Hahn. Loving mother of Jessica Turner (Kirby Brakvill), Amey Chalk (Jeremy), Peyton Hahn and Schuyler Hahn. Cherished grandmother of Austin, Taylor and Kaitlyn Nuncio, Mallory and Payton Brakvill and Penelope and Magnolia Chalk. Dear sister of Gary Velander (Marie) and Susan Velander Chant. Preceded in death by her father Berger Velander and mother June Shekey Woelffer Velander. Passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the age of 62. For those who knew Lois, felt the love, care, and concern for others she shared. She had the ability to set the room at ease and invite everyone into the comfort of her arms. Simply being in her presence was a gift, and her ability to find the silver lining, is a lesson that will continue to live beyond her life on Earth. Lois would want her fight against Melanoma to strengthen the bond for those still fighting this battle. She would want her family and friends to wrap their arms around the doctors, nurses, patients, and volunteers who continue to dedicate their time and energy into finding the strength for a cure. Lois was loved by all who knew her and will be missed, but she will always be alive in our hearts. Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 19 from 2-4 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 20 at 10 AM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 7333 Pfeiffer Rd., Cincinnati 45242. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
