Linda Sue (nee Jackson) Slone went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2026, at the age of 73. Linda was born in Lexington, KY, on January 9, 1953, to the late Dr. Earl R. and Irma L. (nee Peters) Jackson.

Linda is the loving mother of Scott (Amy) Slone, Kyle Slone, David (Sarah) Slone, and Daniel Slone; proud grandmother of Amberly (Noah) Barnes, Gabrielle (Esteban) Gonzalez, Faith Slone, Landon Slone, Chandler Slone, Johnathon Slone, Stephanie Slone, Michael Slone, Katelyn Slone, Jackson Slone, Layla Slone, Ericka Slone, and great grandmother of Rena Barnes; dear sister of Vicki Harkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many dear friends, and her fur baby, Suzy Q.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Rick Slone, and her sister Angel Baby, Jennifer Jackson.

Linda was a faithful member of Edenton First Baptist Church.

Friends will be received on Saturday, January 24, 2026, 10-11am at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where a service will begin at 11am. Pastor Scott Slone will officiate.

Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Union Twp.
