Lewis Todd Reynolds passed away in Hamilton County, Ohio, into the glory of his Savior Jesus Christ on June 3, 2025. Born on April 23, 1933, he is preceded in death by his parents Lewis A. L. Reynolds and Marjorie Todd Reynolds, and his wife Beverly De Vries Reynolds, all of Denver, Colorado. A long-time resident of Denver, Todd spent the last seven years in Cincinnati, Ohio, where his sons Lewis E. L. (Cara) Reynolds and Geoffrey W. (Joy) Reynolds reside. He loved his eight grandchildren.

Todd grew up in the University Park area of Denver with his younger siblings Roger† (Luba) Reynolds, Mitchell† (Sandra) Reynolds, and Noel (Larry) McCain. He was thankful for the continuation of his family's legacy through his many nieces, nephews, and their children. He was graduated from South High School (1950) and Harvard University (1954, Summa Cum Laude AB in Chemistry) before completing a master's degree in chemistry under Geoffrey Wilkinson at Harvard. For the next ten years, he served in various teaching and administrative roles in the Chemistry Department at Cornell University. In the late 1960s he returned to the Denver area where he worked with the Colorado Department of Health Laboratory Division and in private industry as a Certified Industrial Hygienist. A long-time Christian who embraced the profession of faith expressed in the first answer of the Heidelberg Catechism, Todd was a member of the Pleasant Street Christian Reformed Church (Whitinsville, MA), Third Christian Reformed Church (Denver, CO), Emmanuel American Reformed Church (Westminster, CO), and most recently, Ascension Reformed Church (Cincinnati, OH).

In lieu of flowers, donations* may be made to the Building Fund of Ascension Reformed Church to assist the congregation with the restoration of the historic Mt. Auburn Baptist Church building. Soli Deo Gloria!
