Letha Steele (nee Fender) of Blanchester, OH, went to be with her Lord on February 23, 2015 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born December 12, 1927 to Monroe and Edith (nee Scott) Fender. She worked for 24 years as the middle school secretary at Blanchester Local Schools. She enjoyed knitting, reading, and time spent with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ralph Steele; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Dave Neal; granddaughter, Sarah Neal; brother-in-law, Donald Steele. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by half-sisters, Dorothea, Laverne, Leona, Mabel; and half-brother Ogle; Sister-in-law, Dorothy Steele; brother-in-law, Ernie (Mildred) Steele. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Thursday February 26, 2015 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Friday February 27, 2015 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 201 E. Center St. Blanchester, OH 45107. Interment Blanchester I.O.O.F.
