Beloved husband of 64 years to Dorothy (nee Ernst) Kyde, devoted father of Marlene (Chuck) Wasson, Pamela (Terry) Keith, Kenneth J. Kyde, and Karen (Jesse) Eversole, proud grandfather of Tammie Powers, Angela O'Keefe, Jason Keith, Matthew Engel, and Amanda Engel, loving great grandfather of Madison and Jordan Powers, Parker Nevins, and Allison and Connor O'Keefe, dear brother of Albert Kyde and the late Robert and William Kyde. Also preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Aurelia (nee Kutzleb) Kyde. Mr. Kyde served our country during W.W. II in the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. Mr. Kyde was the owner of Kyde Sign Company in Silverton, Ohio. He was former President of Silverton Businessmens' Association, a volunteer firefighter for the Silverton Fire Department, and a member of the Silverton Kiwanis Club.
