Leon of Mason, formerly of St. Martin and Loveland, Ohio. Devoted husband of Maryellen (nee George) and the late Ettamaye (nee Eggleston) Jones. Loving father of Leon III, Daniel (Diana) Jones, Alyce (Pat) Sheehan, Donald (Andrew Kohn) Jones, John (Noelle) Jones. Cherished grandfather of Daniel and Casey. Dear brother of the late John L.Jones, Evelyn Beorse and Burt Jones. Died January 1 at age 94. Proudly served our country during World War II in the Navy. On August 5, 1916 in a log cabin on a dairy farm near Fremont, Ohio, Leon Jones was born, a descendant of a family with roots all the way back to the Mayflower.
