Lemont "Monty" Payton of Loveland, OH, went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on February 2, 2026, at the age of 55. Monty was born on January 5, 1971, in Batavia, OH to Miles and Barbara Payton.

Monty was the beloved husband of Tabatha Ann (nee Gibson) Payton, loving father of Armonie Payton, Kayla Herron and Kevin Herron, proud grandfather of Heavenly Herron, dear brother of Scott (Holly) Payton and Michele (Kevin) Harber, cherished son of Barbara (nee Covert) Payton and the late Miles Payton, step-son of Sherry Payton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, many relatives and dear friends.

Monty was a burst of energy. He loved the beach, vacations and his sweets. His pride and joy were his daughter, Armonie.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date at One Way Church Batavia, 4650 St. Rt. 132, Batavia, OH 45103
