LaRue Baker, a cherished wife, mother & grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family members on December 17th, 2024.

She was born in Corbin, Kentucky on January 18, 1938. She was the daughter of Roy and Maggie Skinner, and the oldest of their three children. She graduated from Hughes High School.

She was the wife of James Harvey Baker & shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. She was the proud mother of James Randall Baker.

She belonged to Milford Christian Church as a devout Christian. Her faith shined through everything she did. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, and traveling. She was her happiest in the company of friends and family.

She is survived by her Husband, James, son, Randy, daughter-in-law, Michelle, two granddaughters, Laura and Rachel, grandson-in-law, Carter, great grandsons, Ezra & Luca, sister, Estie Hutchison, and brother, Roy Skinner.

Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Friday, December 20 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin on Friday at 12 Noon. Pastor Todd Jefferson officiating.

Interment will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery, Deerfield TWP, OH.
