Larry Ray Wilson, beloved husband to the late Ruth Ann Wilson, went home to be with his Saviour, March 16, 2022. Larry grew up in the community on his father's dairy farm and graduated from Little Miami High School in 1961. He married his sweetheart in September of 1963 and they were married for 56 years before her home going in September 2019. He and his father started Valley Machine Tool in 1967 where he worked until his death. He accepted the gift of salvation in 1971 and served faithfully in church for many years as a Sunday school teacher, bus driver, choir member, and junior church song director while quietly helping others in the church and community in countless other ways behind the scenes. He loved spending time with his family and friends playing games, talking, laughing and drinking coffee when available. He loved to tell jokes and always had a "dad" joke to share with anyone who would listen to them. Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann, his parents, Clarence and Ruth Wilson, and brother Roger J. Wilson. He is survived by his five children; Douglas (Carol) Wilson, Mark (Lisa) Wilson, Mara (Randy) Jarboe, Stephen (Andrea) Wilson and Daniel (Elizabeth Allphin) Wilson, 13 grandchildren; Jordan (Kristina) Wilson, Jerrica Wilson, Sarah-Liane (Cody) Rodgers, Jaelyn Wilson, Steven Wilson, Cole (Taylor) Wilson, Jaclyn Wilson, Hunter Wilson, Ashlyn Wilson, Jenna Wilson, Alex Jarboe, Abby Jarboe and Aubrey Wilson, 8 great-grandchildren; Malachi Wilson, Noah Wilson, Thaddeus Wilson, Ryker Wilson, Ira Wilson, Gabriella Rodgers, Remington Short and Raelyn Wilson; sister, Janice Wilson and brother, Bill Wilson, and countless other family members and friends. Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1 PM on Monday, March 21 at Cozaddale Baptist Temple, 10632 Eltzroth Rd., Goshen, where services will begin at 1 PM. Interment at Murdoch Cemetery, Hamilton Township, OH. Pastor Travis Burke will be the minister for Larry's services. Pallbearers for Larry are: Jordan Wilson, Steven Wilson, Cole Wilson, Hunter Wilson and Alex Jarboe.
