IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Larry
Kretchek
May 29, 1961 – October 20, 2023
After a hard-fought battle, Larry Kretchek was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 20th, 2023. Larry was known for his outgoing personality, love of cooking, and kind heart. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, and friend to many. He loved to help others and would do anything for family, friends, and strangers who would surely turn into friends.
Larry met his wife Sandy at a young age and knew they were meant to be. Together, they raised four children in a home he built. Larry recently retired from his construction business, where he hand-crafted beautiful homes, and was focusing on what he loved to do - hunt, fish, watch the Bengals, find a bargain at the flea market, and above all, spend time with family.
Larry left an undeniable mark on the world and will be missed every day by his family and friends.
Larry is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sandy, and their four children, Adam (Whitney) Kretchek, Alex (Carlos) Kretchek, Austin Kretchek and Ashley (Anthony) Cardosi, his mother Pauline Kretchek, sister Mary (Dave) Gough and brother Jack (Sandie) Kretchek. Also, five grandchildren, Braydon, Noah, Addison & Bli Kretchek and Louie Cardosi, as well as great-grandson Grayson Kretchek and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, John L. Kretchek.
The funeral service will be held at 12pm on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Westboro Community Church, 110 Jonesboro Rd., Midland, OH 45148, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service.
Interment will take place at Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Larry's name to the Westboro Community Church at 110 Jonesboro Rd. Midland, OH 45148 or to the St. Jude Children's Medical Center.
