It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Larry C. Holmes, who left us on June 12, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on October 5, 1944, in Brunswick, Georgia.

Larry was the beloved husband of Carol Ann Holmes and a cherished father to his children: Terri Holmes, Matt Holmes (and his wife Regina), Scott Holmes (and his wife Tania), Jennifer Holmes, and Rebecca Cole. His legacy of love and strength extends through his ten grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. Larry's family circle also included his sister-in-law, Oneeda Miller.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lester and Alice Holmes.

The funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 12 PM until the time of service.

Interment will take place at Troutwine Cemetery, Lynchburg, Ohio.
