Kristin Parmiter Gillum born June 15, 1970, passed on January 14, 2019 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 48. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Michael Gillum, sons Chad Gillum and fiance Cassie, and Joey Gillum. Her parents Sheila Parmiter and Ronald Parmiter, wife Sondra; brother Scott Parmiter and Caroline and their children Taylor, Megan and Thomas; grandmother, Blanche Parmiter and deceased grandparents Wilbur Parmiter, Roy and Evelyn Sams. Her surviving in-laws, Robert and Anna Belle Gillum, sister in-law Traci and Gary Sexton and nephew Jeff, Michele and Brian Wallace, and their children Valerie and Marcus. In addition, Kristin loved and was loved by many other family members and friends. She worked at Security National until she survived a brain aneurysm in 2001. As a result of her aneurysm, she helped form and participated in a local Brain Aneurysm Support Group. Kristin focused her attention on her family and friends. Kristin loved to shop and prided herself on shopping for others as well. She enjoyed gardening and planted beautiful flowering annuals. She was also known to enjoy pulling the occasional slot machine handle. Kristin was selfless in life as well as death by being an organ donor. As a result, others will be able to see the world through her eyes. The family would like to thank all of the many nurses, doctors and staff that helped Kristin and the family during this difficult time. Their special care touched the entire family. The family will celebrate Kristins life on Thursday January 17 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Ohio. The family will receive visitors from 10am to 12pm following will be the funeral and graveside services. The family invites family and friends to a reception afterwards located at Somerset Community Clubhouse at Bishops Gate located at 8075 Somerset Chase Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.
