It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Kimberly Ann Lannerd, born Kimberly Ann Jones, who left us on May 16, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on July 19, 1960, in Wilmington, Ohio, Kimberly’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and the boundless spirit she shared with those around her.

Kimberly was beloved by many, and her memory will forever be cherished by her daughters, Tammy Jones and Amanda Jones, who carry forward her legacy with pride and deep affection. She found joy in her role as a grandmother to Preston Carter, Samantha Steele, Dylan Christy-Webster, Caleb Christy, Kaitlyn Clark, and Shelby Nichole Mitchell. The love she poured into her family extended into the next generation, where she delighted in her great-grandchildren, Vaas Jansen Watson and Vaughn Jahsier Watson, who brought light and laughter to her days.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her loving parents, Leslie Jones and Dorothy (Tuggle) Jones.

A memorial gathering in honor of Kimberly’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Kimberly's kindness and warmth are invited to join in reflecting on her life and the indelible mark she left behind.
