IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kevin Thomas
Sorg
July 5, 1975 – July 20, 2025
Kevin Thomas Sorg, age 50, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away suddenly on July 20, 2025. Kevin was the beloved husband of Michelle Kratt Sorg and a devoted, loving father to Hayden (15) and Connor (12). He was the cherished son of Thomas and Nancy (née Welsh) Sorg and a devoted brother to Kelly (Stephen) Evans and Julie (Rick O'Hare) Sorg. Kevin was a proud uncle to John "JT" Evans and Margaret "Maggie" Evans, and he is survived by many other loving family members—nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins—and countless dear friends whose lives he touched with his humor and big personality.
Kevin attended All Saints Catholic School, and graduated from Moeller High School in 1993. He then went on to the University of Dayton, earning a degree in Visual Communication Design in 1997 and then taught graphic design in the College of Arts & Sciences for over 10 years. Kevin was the founder of Kman Design Group, best known for creating the Michigan Nightlife brand and many other artistic designs.
Kevin had a deep love for all things sports especially UD Flyers basketball, the Cincinnati Reds, the Bengals, Chicago Blackhawks, and Notre Dame Football. He loved cheering on Hayden and the Moeller Cross Country and Track teams, and found great joy in coaching baseball for both Hayden and Connor. Kevin was a beloved coach to all. Kevin and Connor shared a special bond through their artistic talents, often creating fun projects together. Spending time with his boys was his greatest passion. Whether cheering from the sidelines, coaching on the field, or taking them frisbee golfing, Kevin cherished every moment. Each summer, he created lasting memories with his family at his very favorite place in Bear Lake, Michigan.
Family and friends will be received from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, July 30 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140. To honor Kevin, please wear apparel of one of his favorite team's to the visitation.
