He loved his Spartans, Crusaders, UA Lions, and watching anything his 10 loving grandkids were playing at the time. With his loving wife of 49 years, they have spent the last 19 years going from t-ball to soccer to basketball, football, tennis, golf and volleyball. Pop was always there and loved to watch them all. He loved spending time with his family and especially family vacations to the lake. After a 30+ year career with the Treasury Department that started in Cincinnati (where he and mom were married) then to Detroit, and back to Cincinnati, where he eventually traded his job for the enjoyment of watching his family grow. With a big welcoming smile, or a kind word, he was always supportive and eager to help pickup from school or take to practice. Growing up 1 of 9 in Jackson and Lansing Michigan, Kip loved having his family near him, and enjoyed all the commotion and craziness big families embrace. When he wasn't at a sporting event, he would be tinkering in the garage or working in the yard. While taken too soon, he left all that got to know him with wonderful warm loving memories. He will be known as Kip, Kevin, Pop, Doc, Dad, and Grandpa Green…but will always be remembered as our biggest fan and supporter. Go Green – Go white. We love you Pop!
