Kevin P. Jones, of Milford, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025, surrounded by his family and filled with their love. He was seventy-nine years of age. His memory lives on with his loving wife of fifty-seven years Margie (nee Hawthorne); his proud sons Bryan (Christy) Jones and Scott (Denise) Jones; his devoted grandchildren Rachel, Megan, Zach, Mary, Hallie and Abby; and his ever-loyal siblings Frank (Margaret) Jones, Kylius (Penny) Jones, Nancy (John) Dankert, Maureen (Joe) Corry, Kathleen (Michael) Wilkins, Mark (the late Debbie) Jones and Sheila (Chris) Cole. He will be missed too by his numerous friends (his "buddies") and the countless others who he touched with his kindness.

After proudly graduating from Purcell High School, Kevin received a business degree from the University of Cincinnati. While working full-time as the business manager of Badin High School, Kevin put himself through Chase College of Law's evening class program, studying nights and weekends on a makeshift table below a single hung lightbulb in a basement. That grit and determination never left him.

Margie was Kevin's best friend and the love of his life. He fell in love with her over and over again in their fifty-seven years of marriage. Despite working long hours to provide a better life for his family, he never missed a sporting event or a chance to tell his sons he was proud of them. He was their North Star. But Kevin was born to be a grandpa, or Papa, as his grandchildren called him – dressing up every Halloween with them and showering them with encouragement in their pursuits. Each adored him.

Kevin was not one to preach about his faith in Christ, he lived it. His life's passion was serving others, from serving on various charitable boards to spending countless hours with and serving the homeless. He was the family or friend that showed up for one in need, without being asked and often without telling a soul. Receiving praise would cloud the purity of the act. He lived his life with an indomitable spirit that amplified the joy of those around him and his infectious belly laugh and sense of humor lifted the spirits of all those nearby him.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 7 from 9:15-10:15 AM at St. Columban Church, 894 Oakland Rd., Loveland, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM. A reception at St. Columban will immediately follow. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery following the reception.
