Kenneth Lay of Butlerville, OH went home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2023. Kenneth was born on January 2, 1936, in Walden, KY.

Beloved husband of Lois (nee Ward) Kerr Lay and the late Emmaree (nee Morgan) Lay of 57yrs. Loving father of Jeffery Mark Lay and the late Kenneth Allan Lay and step-father of Rebecca Kerr, Dustin Kerr, and the late John Kerr and Shelia Kerr. Caring step-grandfather of 8 grandsons and step-great-grandfather of 3. Dear brother of Wanda Rains, Pauline Pittman, and the late Vernon Lay and Paul Lay. Cherished son of the late Everett and Marie (nee Golden) Lay. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and many dear friends.

Kenneth proudly served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne. He jumped out of 26 "perfectly good airplanes". He worked for General Motors for 27 yrs. at the Moraine and Norwood plants. He was a faithful member of Hill Station Baptist Church.

Friends will be received from 4-6pm on Sunday, October 15 at the Hill Station Baptist Church, 7100 Hill Station Rd., Goshen, OH 45122, where services will begin at 6pm on Sunday.

A committal service with military honors will be held at 1pm on Monday, October 16 at the Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
