Ken Richardson, 85, of Blanchester, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2024, with his family by his side.

Born June 21, 1939, in Estell County, Kentucky, son of Elmer and Angie (Garrett) Richardson. He was a faithful member of the First Church of God in Blanchester for many years. Ken enjoyed going to car shows with his wife, Helen, coon hunting, and playing cards with his family and friends. He was known to be a hard worker who always stayed busy. He will be dearly missed.

Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Helen Richardson; four children, Tammy (Tom) Jackson, Sandy (Dwain) Hudson, Cindy (Bob) Johnston, and Gary (Diane) Richardson; grandchildren, Brandon Jackson, Jess Cearley, Codie Barrial, Matt Johnston, Samantha Miller, Ally Lamb, and Kenneth Richardson; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Louetta Doan, Glenna Docter, and Vicki Williams; brother, Phil Richardson.

Along with his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his grandsons, Rob Johnston and David Johnston; siblings, Walt Richardson, Dean Richardson, Donald Richardson, and Christine Henry.

Friends will be received from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio.

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Tufts Schildmeyer-Blanchester.

Interment will take place at Blanchester Cemetery, Blanchester.
