Kay (nee Farwick) Depner of Maineville, beloved wife of 64 years to the late John “Johnnie” Depner, Jr., passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at the age of 89.

Kay was the loving mother of Jerry Depner, Kym (Richard) Lucas, Karen (Kenny) Schrichten, Jimmy Depner, Kathleen (Randy) Roy, and the late Johnnie Depner III. She was a cherished grandmother to Sara, Matt, Justin, Megan, Josh, LJ, Chelsea, Steven, Andrea, Brianna, Emily, Alexis, and Ethan; a proud great-grandmother to Landon, Brady, Alivia, Kayden, Kennedy, Aubrie, Kate, Savannah, Alexis, Colton, Ava, Chase, Finn, and JD; and a loving great-great-grandmother to Jameson and Layton. She was also a dear sister-in-law to the late Bernice (Art) Borisky, and a loving aunt to Michael and David Borisky.

Kay lived her life as a MOTHER and GRANDMOTHER—not only to her own children and grandchildren, but to the entire neighborhood. Her loving heart, caring nature, and willingness to be there for others touched countless lives.

Friends will be received Wednesday, September 16 from 10:45 - 11:45 AM at Good Shepherd Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati 45249, where Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 PM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
