Kathy Ann (nee Roll) Poynter of Goshen TWP, OH., passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2024 at the age of 73. Kathy was born on January 2, 1951 in Shelbyville, IN to Kenneth and Maxine Roll.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joseph "Birddog" Dale Poynter; two sons, Matt (Angel) Poynter and Doug (Tara) Poynter; stepdaughter, Cindy (Bill) Earlywine; grandchildren, Tyler Mays, Brayden Poynter, David Graves, Holden Poynter, Hayli Mays, Alex Poynter, Elias Poynter, Esmae Poynter, Jordan Earlywine and Rachel (Jacob) Abel; brother, David (Sue) Roll; also survived by two nephews, many relatives and dear friends. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Maxine (nee Ritchie) Roll.

Kathy was a 1969 graduate of Greenhills High School. She spent most of her time with her family and horses. She loved to spend time in Estes Park, Colorado.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place from 1 PM to 2 PM on Monday, June 24 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen.
