Kathryn Wildman Sharp of Cincinnati formerly of Worthington, Ohio and Pawleys Island, South Carolina. A woman before her time, an advocate for those without a voice and a role model for those who follow in her footsteps. A dedicated wife of 35 years to the late John W Sharp. A revered mother of Karen (Tim Raisor) Drake and stepmother of Bradley Sharp (her favorite Republican), Jeffrey (Sue) Sharp, and Judith Sharp. Cherished grandmother of Gehrig, Madelyn, Maxson, Julia, Sarah & Lee ("The Cheesecake Kids"), Kelly, Mike and Kevin ("The Dehan Kids"). Adored sister of the late John Wildman III. Passed away May 31, 2025 at the age of 83.
Kathryn graduated from the University of Toledo, Class of '73, with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She traveled the world as an Agricultural Statistician. Passionately involved with AAUW (American Association of University Women) in both Ohio and South Carolina. She was a member of the League of Women Voters and the Garden Club. No matter where she lived, her heart remained with the Central College Presbyterian Church in Westerville, OH.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, June 5 at Blanchester Cemetery, 520 W Main Street, Blanchester, OH 45107.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kathryn may be directed to AAUW - Ohio BeWise Camp.
