Kathryn Reed Wheeler (nee White) of Midland, OH was born September 17, 1937 to Tom and Eva (nee Campbell) White and passed away on July 8, 2016 at the age of 78. She worked as a real estate agent in the surrounding areas. She loved to crochet, sew, quilt and garden. She was a member of the Waters of Mercy Church and Eastern Star for over 50 years. She is survived by her children, James T. (Venita) Reed and Brenda K. Reed Simpson; grandchildren, Krissy (Scott) Rumpke, Angela (J.R.) Reed-Dallas, Jessica Reed and Kari (Jon) Simpson-Hike; great grandchildren, Emma, James and Zack Rumpke and Lola Dallas; brother, Thomas Edmond White; sister, Frankie (Herschel) Parker; a brother-in-law, Peter Craig; and a sister-in-law, Linda White; and a daughter-in-law, Patty Reed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold D. Reed and Charles S. Wheeler; a son, Edward L. Reed; a granddaughter, Jenna Kay Simpson; a brother, Harlon White; a sister, Jewel Jones Craig; sister-in-law, Marie White. Friends will be received from 5-8 P.M. on Friday July 15, 2016 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107 with Eastern Star services at 7:45 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 A.M. at Waters of Mercy Church, 13633 St. Rt. 68 Westboro, OH 45148. Interment Westboro Cemetery, Jefferson Twp., OH.
