Katherine M. Fisk of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 66. Katherine was born on November 26, 1957, in Spokane, Washington, to the late Gordon and Patricia (Koenig) Merkel.

Katherine loved to travel and see new places. Her journeys took her to many places, including Germany, Hawaii, and Alaska. The beach is what she loved the most. She always met the nicest people along her travels and had plenty of stories to tell when she returned.

She was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Kenneth Fisk. Upon her passing, they were reunited after being apart for 20 years.

She was a loving mother to Honey Geiger, Lisa Fisk, Laura (Archie) Bell, and Sara Coughren. She was an exceptionally proud grandmother to Cassandra, Brandon, Gavin, Trinity, Anita, Xavier, Dakota, Angelica, Veronica, Elizabeth, Conner, Kloe, Daylin, Steven, and four great-grandchildren. Dear sister of John Merkel and Karol (Merkel) Melde. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held for her on June 22, 2024, in Polson, MT.
