Karen Jo Scott, 64, of Goshen, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Born on May 27, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Marvin and Loretta (nee Ogden) Morris. Karen received her master's degree in education and taught elementary school for 31 years before retiring. Her love of teaching continued with children's church where she was able to share her love for Jesus. Karen was an active member in church her whole life. She loved flowers, gardening, and reading.

Along with her parents, Karen was survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Kenneth "Bob" Scott; two sons, Kyle (Katie) Scott and Kevin Scott; a granddaughter, Cassidy Scott; sisters, Kathy (Dennis) McWhorter and Anne LaMar.

Friends will be received from 6-8pm on January 25, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Ohio.

The Celebration of Life service will be held at 11am on January 26, 2023, at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Myers Cemetery, Goshen, Ohio.
