Karen Sue Foster was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 2, 1957 to Evelyn Foster and Raymond Foster, Sr. She departed this earthly life on Thursday April 7, 2022 at the age of 65.
At an early age she developed a love for fashion. However, during her time at Courter Tech High School and Western Hills High School she cultivated her skillset for administration and clerical work. After graduation in 1975, she went on to work at Anthem, and ended her career at the University of Cincinnati in the Hemodialysis Unit.
Karen was a legacy member of The New Jerusalem Baptist Church and was a dedicated member even after being diagnosed with Mesothelioma cancer in 2014.
Karen was the Beloved mother of Dominique Francisco. Karen and Dominique loved traveling together. Karen was a huge Minnie Mouse fanatic, so there is no surprise her favorite vacations were Hawaii and Orlando/Disney.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Evelyn Foster and her brother Raymond Foster, Jr.
Karen leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Dominique Francisco; brother Eli (Vernell) Lyle; sisters Evelyn (John) Hennings and Charlene (Raymond) Bishop; sister in law, Wilma Foster; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Karen will remain in our hearts forever and will be missed.
Family and friends will be received from 10 AM - 12 PM on Saturday, April 23 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 26 W. North Bend Road, Cincinnati, OH 45216, where services will be held at 12PM. A livestream of the service can
