Karan M. (Holcomb) Barre aged 71, of Newtonsville, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 11th, 2024, in the company of her loving husband Dean Barre at Hospice of Cincinnati - Anderson.

Karan was a beautiful soul with a kind heart and a creative spirit. She made everything around her beautiful. She filled her garden with all sorts of flowers, statues, and bird feeders. Karan loved to decorate her home with unique finds from the thrift store. She would find things that weren't worth saving and save them. Karan was also a small business owner, avid knitter, lover of cheesy romance movies, a gifted cook and baker. Karan made the best peanut butter fudge you have ever had. But best of all she was always willing to share her knowledge of these things and more with anyone who crossed her path.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. If someone needed something she was always the first to lend a hand, especially if it was one of her children.

Karan's services will be held at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024. The visitation is from 10:00am-12:00pm, funeral to follow.
