MILFORD, OH – Judith Sagel Shafor (nee Pegoli) passed away on April 23, 2023 at the age of 84. Loving wife and best friend of the late Nicholas S. Shafor. Judy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Americo and Hilda Pegoli. Sister of Patty (late John) Durisek, the late Rosie (I.J.) Shuman, and Ron (Debbie) Pegoli. Loving mother of Ralph (Terri) Sagel, Sue (John) Wolfe, and Connie (Joe) Koczwara. Grandmother of nine, and great-grandmother of four. Stepmother of Pamela, Charles, and the late Douglas, and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

Judy spent much of her working career as a pharmacy technician at various Cincinnati area pharmacies. She cherished her family above all else. She loved to shop and loved to give, especially at Christmas. She enjoyed everything horses, from owning and riding them, to going to the races, and placing the occasional bet. She also liked to fish and was a big fan of the Bengals and the Bearcats. And she made many great memories traveling, especially to sunny ocean beaches. Judy will be missed, but she lives on within us.

Private services will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
