Judith Brooke "Brookie" (née Martin) Riddle, 76, met Jesus on Friday, October 15, 2021. Brookie, as she was known by many, loved like Jesus. Born and raised in Morehead, Kentucky, she married her high school sweetheart, Roger. Married to her beloved Roger for 57 years, she was devoted to him and her three children, Leta (Doug), Brent (Jenna), and Julee (Phil). Her love extended to her eight grandchildren, Brooke, Corinne (Aaron), Zachary, Paige, Morgan, Logan, Phebe, and Mia Leta, and her great-granddaughter, Whitley. A middle school English teacher in Goshen, Ohio, for 22 years, she taught her students more than grammar rules, she taught them character. Brookie is survived by seven of her cherished siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Oleta Martin, and one brother, Eddie Ray Martin. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Milford, Ohio, for 43 years. She loved to sing, laugh, travel, and cook. Brookie will be remembered for her love for Jesus, her devotion to her family, her generous spirit, and her coconut cream pies. Friends will be received from 6 PM - 8 PM on Monday, October 18 at First Baptist Church of Milford, 1367 Woodville Pike, Milford, OH, where services will be held on Tuesday, October 19 at 11 AM. Interment, Goshen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Brookie Riddle to Bearing Precious, c/o First Baptist Church of Milford, 1367 Woodville Pike, Milford, OH 45150 Dr. Charles Keen and Dr. William Duttry will be the minister's for Brookie's services.
