IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith "Judy" Mary
Hirschauer
January 20, 1940 – March 17, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith (Judy) Hirschauer, who peacefully left this world on March 17, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on January 20, 1940, in Greenhills, Ohio, Judy was a beacon of love and laughter, whose infectious smile and spirited laugh touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
Judy was the beloved daughter of John and Nellie Krebs, who preceded her in death along with her devoted husband, Robert Hirschauer and grandson Steven Anthony Johnson. She is also survived by her cherished family members, including her daughter Jennie Johnson (Rich Johnson) and son Michael Gardner. Judy took immense pride in her grandchildren, Sara Belle Cloyd (Justin Cloyd), Mark Johnson (Michela Johnson), Marissa Fergus (Jack Fergus), and Kayla Gross (Carl Gross), as well as her great-grandchildren, Teagan, Grayson, and Emerson Cloyd, and Magnolia Johnson, who brought her boundless joy. She is also survived by many nieces.
Judy's legacy is further enriched by her siblings, who have also preceded her in death: her sister Jackie Noble (Wes Noble), brothers Danny Krebs and Neal Krebs (Toni Krebs), and sister-in-law Ann Krebs, and surviving brother Kim Krebs. Each of these relationships shaped her life and filled her years with precious memories.
In pursuit of her dreams, Judy bravely returned to school later in life to become a Dental Hygienist, a career that allowed her to care for others and make meaningful connections. Her passion for her work was matched only by her love for music, particularly the soothing melodies of Neil Diamond, which often echoed throughout her home.
Judy's life was a testament to resilience, love, and dedication. She faced challenges with grace and a positive spirit, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her family extends their gratitude to the wonderful care provided by Home Sweet Home, where Judy spent her past few years surrounded by love and welcomed into their family, as well as to Queen City Hospice, whose support was invaluable.
In honor of Judy's memory, her family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Queen City Hospice and/or Home Sweet Home at 574 Sonny Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244 (Attn: Bev).
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
As we remember Judy, we cherish the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the lessons she taught us all about the importance of family, kindness, and the joy of living life to the fullest. Thank you to all family and friends who have supported us during this time. We are eternally grateful to have had her in our lives and will carry her spirit with us always.
