Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son, husband, father and papal, JT James Strange, who left us far too soon on November 5, 2026, at the age of 55. JT was born on January 6, 1971, in Cincinnati, OH.

He leaves behind a family who loved him more than words could express. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the countless memories, laughter, and love he shared with us throughout his life. He was the beloved husband of 30 years to Kimberly Strange (née Brock); loving father of Miranda Strange, Josh (Kayla) Beamer, Brandon (Tiffany) Beamer; proud papal of Bryson, Jace, Paislee, Easton, and Lainee; cherished son of James Thompson (Cheri) Strange and the late Sandra Kay Strange (née Goodin); and dear brother of Stan (RuthAnn) Strange and the late Tina Carpenter and Donna Strange. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by his kindness, generosity, and friendship.

JT was a hardworking man who took great pride in everything he did. As the owner of Diamond Machine Tool, he dedicated himself to his work, building a business that reflected his determination, dedication, and strong work ethic. He was a man who believed in working hard, providing for his family, and taking pride in what he accomplished. Outside of work, one of his greatest passions was flying. Whether in the skies or spending time with the people he loved, he found joy in the things that made life meaningful.

Friends will be received from 5 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, November 11 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 8 PM on Wednesday. Tufts Schildmeyer Crematory will be caring for the family.
