Joyce F. Wise of Lebanon, OH was born June 15, 1939 to William and Clara Mae (nee Gardiner) Simons and passed away on December 9, 2016 at the age of 77. Her family was her joy. She is survived by her husband William C. "Bill" Wise; children, Alice F. (Andrew) Walsh, William D. (Beth) Wise and Thomas A. (Michael Hoelscher) Wise; grandchildren, Joshua (Natalie), Jeremy (Danielle), Emily (Jeff), Christopher, Rachel, Sarah (Steve), Rebecca and Nicholas; great-grandchildren Miriam and Eleora; brothers, Glenn (Beverly) Simons and Roger (Linda) Simons; sister, Dorothy "Dot" (Bruce) Phillips; sister-in-law, Edie Simons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Simons. She loved crocheting, knitting, and quilting for her family and friends, and often used her talents in ministry to others. She enjoyed singing in her church choir, and was an active swimmer. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where services will be held on Thursday December 15, 2016 at 10 AM. Interment will be at Crosson Cemetery, Harlan Twp.
