Joyce Anne Amon (nee Bressler), 81, of West Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 4, 2024.

Joyce was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 27, 1942 to the late Agnes and Louis Bressler. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Amon.

Joyce is survived by her brother Kenneth (Ruth) Bressler of Plano, Texas; dear children, Teresa (Sean) Lynd and Michael (Christine) Blomer; her step-children Debra Amon, Catherine (James) Blackburn, Steven Amon, and Michael (Rebecca) Amon; her beloved grandchildren, Danielle (Kyle) Klausing, Trevor Lynd, Aaron Lynd, Zachary Blomer, Abby Blomer and Audrey Blomer; and step-grandchildren, Kelly Blackburn, Erin (Garrett) Wheeler, Hayley (Drew) Fitzgerald, Winston (Esme) Amon, Logan Amon, Marshal Amon, Jake (Zoe) Amon, Taylor (Lily) Amon, Emily Amon, Nathan Hassert and Michael Hassert; And very special friend, Diane Amon.

The difficult part of losing a parent is the loss of the family's biggest cheerleader and supporter. This was Joyce. Joyce was tremendously devoted to her children and grandchildren. She attended every baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and lacrosse game. She was present at every recital, theater performance, school show and numerous graduations. No life event happened without her, including most recently shopping for wedding dresses with her granddaughter. Joyce had an uncanny knack for remembering personal details and took a sincere interest in everyone she met. She passionately cheered on her Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, rarely missing a single game. She enjoyed life and loved her family. We are all so lucky to have created so many memories with Joyce. We will forever feel your ripples, Mom.

At Joyce's request a small graveside memorial will take place on Saturday, February 17th at 9:45 am at West Chester Cemetery, 6425 West Chester Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069. For those unable attend, Joyce would request that you go make some lasting memories with your loved ones.
