Joseph "Joe" F. Valerius, Jr. of Cincinnati. Beloved husband of 58 years to Jan (nee Osterbrock) Valerius. Loving father of Shelley (Don) Mech, Jody (Gary) Geisen, Lori (Mike) O'Connor, and Mike (Amy) Valerius. Cherished and devoted grandfather of Nicole & Chloe Mech, Abigail Geisen, Emily, Ryan, James & Joseph O'Connor, and Lucas & Ben Valerius. Dear brother of Ron (Jenny) Valerius and Dan (Joan) Valerius. Survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Passed away August 11, 2024 at the age of 82.

Known for his deep faith, kindness and generosity, Joe was an unwavering fan of all Cincinnati sports, especially the Cincinnati Bengals and Xavier University basketball. Grandpa, also known as "Uncle Joe" to many, was ever present supporting his grandkids, nieces and nephews throughout their lives with his optimism and unconditional love. He will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune to cross his path.

Family and friends will be received from 8:45-9:45 AM on Friday, August 16 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven.
