Joseph A. Rave, Jr., 89, son of Joseph A. Rave, Sr. and Norma Schmidt Rave died on January 10, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Connie Sprengard Rave; sons, Mark (Kim) and James, five grandsons, Nick (Amanda), Dan (Jamie), Andrew (Karla), Shea a great grandson, Atticus; and sisters, Rosemary (Tom) Buskirk & Ginny. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Karl & Norman (Ginny). Joe was a graduate of University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering. He designed controls for machine tools at Cincinnati Milacron in Oakley, South Lebanon and Biggleswade, England. In retirement, Joe volunteered as a judge at Science Fairs and was active in the Retired Engineers & Scientists of Cincinnati. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, January 19 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249.
