Joseph "Joe" Bay Norton Sr. of Maineville, OH, passed away March 11, 2025, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 57 years to Donnadele Norton (nee Hunsicker). Devoted father of Maria (Frank) Smith, Joseph (Christy) Norton II, Adam Norton, Colleen (Richard) Paul-Hus, and the late Nicholas Norton. Cherished grandfather of Ben (Bry) Smith, Sam Smith, Emma Smith, Annabella Norton, Addalynn Norton, Viola Norton, James Norton, Max Paul-Hus, Duke Paul-Hus, Lincoln Paul-Hus, and Paris Paul-Hus. Loving great-grandfather of Foster Nicholas Smith. Caring brother of the late Thomas Norton and Bob Norton.

Joe was a decorated United States Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam. He was a man of honor and cared deeply for his friends, family, and country.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Avenue, Loveland, OH, 45140. A Mass of Christian Burial for Joe will occur Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Philip the Apostle, 944 East U.S. 22 & 3, Morrow, Ohio 45152. Military honors will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 2 PM at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third Street, Dayton, OH, 45428. Interment to follow. Donations in Joe's memory may be directed to the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220.
