Joseph "Joe" Edward of Maineville, OH. Beloved husband of Inez (nee Money) Diss. Loving father of Jennifer (Michael) Bowman. Devoted grandfather of Evan and Noah Bowman. Dear brother of Raymond (Janice) Diss, late Donald (Marilyn) Diss, Judith (late Edwin) McCracken and Pamela (Craig) Ramsey. Also survived by numerous brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Passed away on August 17, 2016 at the age of 76. Joe was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in Foster. He graduated from Kings High School in 1958. He married Inez in 1962 and they were married for 54 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Milford. He became 2nd lieutenant in the Army National Guard where he served for more than 7 years. His daughter, Jennifer, was born in 1967. He worked for the Ford Motor Company, Sharonville plant, for 38 years as a millwright. He also sold real estate for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He cherished the time he spent with his family and his grandsons meant the world to him. Services will be held on Monday, August 22nd at 12 Noon at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland where friends and family will be received from 10 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be held with military honors at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, OH. Pallbearers for Joe will be Michael Bowman, Raymond Diss, MacArthur Lawson, Bill Money, Randall Smith and Jimmy Diss. Honorary pallbearers will be Evan Bowman, Noah Bowman, Austin Smith, Cody Smith, Tim Diss, Rob Diss and David Lawson. Doug Money and Deacon MacArthur Lawson will be officiating the Celebration of Life service for Joe.
