IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joseph "Jack"
Bunnell
August 17, 1935 – July 31, 2025
Joseph "Jack" Bunnell of Maineville, OH, passed away July 31, 2025, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Peggy Bunnell for 41 wonderful years. Devoted father of Kay (John) Knoblauch. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Knoblauch and Zachary Knoblauch. Caring brother of the late Joyce (Warren) Miller and Mary Lou (Elmer Lee) Fox. Loving uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.
As a father, Jack was a constant source of strength, guidance, and love to his only daughter and son-in-law, and cherished every moment of their time together. He was especially proud of his two grandchildren. His love for them was boundless, and he treasured every opportunity to watch them grow.
Jack dedicated 39 years of his career to Cincinnati Milacron, where he earned the respect of his colleagues and formed lasting friendships. Shortly after retiring, with the birth of his first grandchild, he embraced the joys of his family life and continued his lifelong mission of serving others.
His faith was central to his life. For decades, Jack served Montgomery Community Church, giving selflessly as a greeter, usher, money-counter, and volunteer for the church's Used Book Depository. He also spent many hours serving at Judson Village and Matthew 25 Ministries. His commitment to service was a testament to his kindness and generosity.
Jack had a deep passion for home projects, and his love for working with his hands was reflected in the many projects he undertook over the years. He also looked forward to his walks with his son-in-law, John, and his grand-dog Frankie.
Jack was known for his warm heart, his gentle spirit, and his unwavering love for his family. His legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughter, Kay, her husband, John, his grandchildren, Nicole and Zachary, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who were blessed to have known him.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held on Wednesday, August 6, at Tufts-Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Loveland, 129 N. Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140. The viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jack's name to Matthew 25 Ministries , a cause that was dear to his heart.
Jack will be deeply missed, but his love and the impact he had on our lives will remain with us forever.
