John H. Wesley Sr. of Goshen, OH. Passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 85. Born on December 15, 1936 in Freeburn, KY. Loving father of Beverley (Darrell) Scott, John H. (Linda) Wesley Jr., Sheila (Danny) Dennis and Dwayne (Ron) Wesley-Campbell. Caring grandfather of Ryan (Sarah) Pike, Shane (Gretchen) Scott, Brandon (Katie) Scott, Jordan (Chloe) Scott, Cynthia Prewitt, Mary Hadley, John (Ashley) Wesley, Denny (Crystal) Newman, Tasha (Jason) Highlander, Danielle (Rob) Sipple, Jessica (Jake) McDaniel and the late Caitlin Scott. Proud great-grandfather of 22 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Matt (Sandy) Wesley, Mary (Bo) New, Ivan (Bea) Wesley, Nellie (Ralph) Farmer and the late Martha Young and Glen Wesley. Father-in-law of the late Denny Newman. Cherished son of the late Matt "Bud" and Ollie Mae (nee Chapman) Wesley. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. John proudly served in the National Guard. John was a member of Goshen Masonic Lodge #119, United Auto Workers and The Moose Lodge. Friends will be received from 6 PM to 8 PM on Friday, January 28 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen. A Goshen Masonic Lodge #119 service will begin at 7:30 PM on Friday evening followed by a military honor service by the SW Ohio VFW Memorial Team. Services will be at 11 AM on Saturday, January 29 at the funeral home. Interment, Myers Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in memory of John Wesley to Clermont Senior Services, 2085 James E Sauls Sr. Dr., Batavia, OH 45103 or to the Goshen Masonic Lodge #119, 2383 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, OH 45122 Rev.
