John Anthony Ward of Hillsboro, OH. Passed suddenly on February 23, 2023, at the age of 62. Born on April 9, 1960, in Cincinnati, OH.

Beloved husband of Margaret "Peggy" Ann (nee Maschinot) Ward. Loving father of Amy (Chris) Francis and stepfather of James Lay, Charity (Chad) Bialczak and Stephanie (Rob) Pratt-Kemmeter. Caring Papaw of Lydia, Josie, Ethan, Harrison, Eli, Brooklyn and EmmaLeigh Francis, Kendra and Alex Lay, Xander and Abbilee Bialczak, Clayton and Joesph Kemmeter. Proud great-Papaw of Benjamin Renegar and Clyde Sanford. Dear brother of Carolyn (Norm) Middleton, Vicki (Terry) Hawley, Peggy Cooley, Susan Ward, Pamela (Rick) Bradshaw, Helen (Don) Perry, Melinda (Steve) Page, Joseph (Tammy) Ward and Christina Childers. Cherished son of the late Joseph Anthony Ward and Pauline (nee Pennington) Ball. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, many dear friends, and his loving cat, Kiki and loving dogs, Little Girl and Poncho.

John loved fishing and the outdoors, sitting by the fire listening to old country music. Every now and then he would pull out his harmonica or banjo. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 6 at 10am at Grace Fellowship Church at 9379 Gunpowder Rd, Florence, KY 41042. A meal for the family will follow. There will also be A Celebration of Life gathering that will take place from 1 PM to 6 PM on Saturday, March 11 at 3868 McMann Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45245. Food will be provided.
